There are some issues with 16.04 where it make some parts of the pack useless: 1) boot/splash we do not recommend you to install boot screen because there is a known bug for plymouth but we are still sharing, if you want to give it a shot 2) Login screen, it is only offered for Ubuntu Unity and Ubuntu Gnome users but if you have multiple desktops then you can't choose and another known problem, if you remove lightdm-webkit then you will have blank screen, to solve this issue you have to install other display manager, so better to not install it.
